WORKSHOP - Driving Profitability with Data
This workshop, co-hosted by yayloh and Dema, will explore how data can be used to unlock more profitable and efficient e-commerce operations.
We’ll dive into a real-life case with Villoid, the Norwegian fashion platform curating both emerging and established brands.
As the business scaled, Villoid faced increasing complexity—thousands of SKUs, inconsistent sizing across brands, limited visibility into product-level profitability, and high return rates that were hard to track and resolve.
To overcome this, the team began using data more systematically to:
• Understand which products and campaigns actually drive profit to reallocate
budget based on performance
• Identify and address return drivers, especially around fit and sizing, reducing
return rates by more than 14 points of % on selected set of products
• Measure the business impact of changes automatically rather than relying on
assumptions and ensuring a scalable, profitable growth The session will offer a clear, practical view of how connecting the dots between
product, customer, and return data can lead to higher margins, better decisions, and a smoother shopping experience.
